Curtain Call CD cover with blurred portrait, yellow light streaks, and distressed “curtain call” title lettering

Curtain Call

A self produced music video that serves as a visual response to the Shadow Self exhibition at Huis Marseille. The project explores the blurry boundaries between memory, identity, and artificial reality.

The concept

The work echoes the exhibition’s central question, where does an image begin and end in an era defined by generative media? It moves through fragmented memories and alternate versions of the self, capturing the feeling of existing in a "parallel world" that doesn't fully belong to one reality.

The system

The video is a hybrid production. The music track and lyrics were entirely generated by AI, creating a synthetic foundation for the piece.

The visuals, filmed and edited in collaboration with Eva Prjevara, use rich textured imagery to ground the digital audio in a more physical, human experience.
